Our Team

While this could be part of the other two categories under this section we place such emphasis in our people and the value of team working in our firm that we believe it is too “big” as a factor to fit in to any other chapter of our corporate life.

In fact we all feel and act as members of the same team, where the words “employees” or “staff”, more appropriate to a contractual or enforcement relationship, have no place in Seamark.

We fully share the idea that a good company offers its people a career and not just a job. People today are using value judgments, not just arithmetic, as they make their career choice. The deciding factor for them is to be with a company they feel proud to be part of, a company that does good, not just a good company.

Since our inception, more than 15 years ago, we have set some principles with regards to our people, which we feel are appropriate and commensurate to the fact that the workforce is for a professional services firm its more important asset. These principles are summarised below:

Board of Directors

George Savvides

George Savvides, is the Managing Director and a shareholder of Seamark Consultants Ltd.

He has a first class honours degree in Accounting & Finance from Lancaster University, UK. He is a Chartered Accountant, fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). George has undertaken his training contract with PWC in Limassol for which he worked for a total of almost five years, as a member of its Audit and Assurance Department.
He is also a licensed Insolvency Practitioner in Cyprus .
George was the originator and First President of the Cyprus Fiduciary Association, a body which has been established, among other purposes, to represent the fiduciary service providers in Cyprus.
He is the representative for Cyprus on the Referral Scheme operated by the Tax Faculty of the ICAEW for what concerns international tax matters.
George has been the author of many articles, among other, on the tax system and other aspects related to the international business sector in Cyprus and has organised and/or participated as a chairman or speaker in various conferences and other professional events in Cyprus and abroad.

Pambos Kartoudes

Pambos Kartoudes, is a Director and a shareholder of Seamark Consultants Ltd.

He holds a BSc in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from The Ohio State University (USA).  He is a Chartered Accountant, member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).

Pambos began his professional career in 2002 with PwC Limassol and worked for five years as a member of the Audit & Assurance Department. In 2007 Pambos left PwC and worked for Russian Commercial Bank Limited for two years at the positions of Deputy Financial Controller and Internal Auditor.

He joined Seamark Consultants Ltd in September 2009 as head of the Accounting and Internal Administration Departments and in December 2009 was appointed as a Director of the company.
