As if the war in Ukraine, which has been going on for more than two years now, is not enough, this year we also face the war in Gaza, with the threat of escalating all over the long-suffering Middle East being more real than ever.
Inflation, which has somehow been tamed following the huge increase in interest rates, keeps hitting above normal levels, having a huge impact on cost of living in many countries.
At the same time the effects of climate change are felt all over the planet, with unprecedented natural disasters causing a huge disruption in the daily life of people all over the world.
It is, however, in times like this that we all need to pause on some occasions from our routine concerns and habits, for relaxation, reflection and spending time with our loved ones.
