Further to our previous newsfeed on this, the Tax Department announced on 17 March 2023 that the deadline for submission of VAT returns is extended as follows:
The extension is granted in order to enable taxpayers to familiarise themselves with the TFA platform, which will be used for compliance with all VAT provisions as from 27 March 2023.
The Tax Department added in the announcement, that the TAXISnet system, the operation of which was terminated on 16 March 2023, is available in view-only mode as from 17 March 2023.
