The Cyprus Tax Department announced on 25 September 2023, that the deadline for submission of the Income Tax Return for employees, pensioners and self-employed individuals who do not prepare audited financial statements, for the year 2022 is further extended until 31 October 2023. It was initially extended from 31 July 2023 to 2 October 2023. The same extension applies to the payment of any final tax due.
It is reminded that only individuals with gross annual income exceeding €19.500 are obliged to submit an Income Tax Return.
