Further to our previous newsfeed on this, the Cyprus Tax Department announced on 30 October 2024 that the deadline for submission of the Income Tax Return for 2023 is further extended from 31 October 2024 to 30 November 2024. The same applies for the payment of any resulting tax due based on the Return.
It is reminded that the regular submission deadline of the Income Tax Return for a specific year is the 31 July of the following year. The said deadline applies to employees, pensioners and self-employed individuals who do not prepare audited financial statements. Only individuals with gross annual income exceeding €19.500 are obliged to submit an Income Tax Return.
