The Cyprus Tax Department
announced on 20 May 2024 that the Income Tax Return for 2023 (the “Return”) is
available for submission through the TAXISnet system. The deadline for
submission of the Return, which applies to employees, pensioners and
self-employed individuals who do not prepare audited financial statements, is on
31 July 2024. Any final tax due is payable also by the same date.
It is reminded that only
individuals with gross annual income exceeding €19.500 are obliged to submit an
Income Tax Return.
