Further to our previous newsfeed on this, on 24 March 2026 the Cyprus Tax Department issued an announcement concerning the deadline for submission of the Corporation Tax Return (for companies) as well as of the Income Tax Return (for individuals with an obligation to prepare audited financial statements) for 2023.
The announcement states that while the deadline for submission of the above mentioned returns remains the 31 March 2026, as long as they are submitted by 30 April 2026 there will be no late submission penalties.
The above applies for companies and individuals with an obligation to prepare audited financial statements whether they are obliged to prepare a Summary Information Table (SIT) or not.
