Through an announcement issued on 9 April 2026, the Cyprus Tax Department notified that as from 1 July 2026 the procedure for registration in the Tax Registry for legal entities registered with the Registrar of Companies will be done through the Tax For All (TFA) Portal, once a connection to the CY Login service is established. This concerns the entities for which the registration number has the following prefix:
a. HE: Local companies of any type
b. AE: Foreign companies
c. Σ: Registered partnerships, general and limited
For entities with registration numbers the prefix of which is different from the ones listed above, the registration procedures will continue to be carried out through the TFA Portal, without a prior connection to the CY Login service needed.
The announcement clarifies that the above procedure concerns only the connection to the CY Login service and does not entail any other connection to the digital services offered by the particular service.

Any registration applications for which the above procedure is not followed will be rejected.
